We are proud to have worked with the University of Warwick on their recent Arden & Felden project. This exciting project involved converting an old hotel and conference centre and transforming it into modern and fashionable student accommodation. Our task was to design, supply, and install 2 large communal kitchens, 5 tea points, RLT flat, 2 laundry rooms and 2 locker rooms.

The project was one for our design team to really sink their teeth into, as two of the twelve kitchens were huge communal kitchens and some of the largest, we have ever created that  had to accommodate for 85 and 49 students respectively. The result was in an innovative design and the production of one of the longest Kitchen islands we ever devised, measuring an impressive 7 metres in length.

These kitchens specified were our Contract Heavy Duty kitchens. Built with the heavy wear and tear of student life in mind combined with a stylish finish, this range ticks all of the boxes for any student accommodation project. Pictured here, these kitchens are a beautiful colour combination of Pebble Grey and Indigo Blue, finished with stunning Minerva worktops, to come together to create a really practical and contemporary space.

With a practical and stylish new kitchen design, Arden & Felden provides the perfect student accommodation for the University of Warwick, complemented by the short 6-minute walk from the university itself.

"We are delighted by the outcome of our Arden and Felden project. With the help of Ellis, we were able to create hard wearing, practical and modern kitchens which utilise a mix of handled and handless design.  The on-trend colours and door styles have created a contemporary kitchen space, perfect for our modern student accommodation." Jonathon Buckingham, Senior Project Manager at Warwick University.
