Holiday Inn - Smokies Park
In November and December 2022, we participated in a renovation project for the Holiday Inn (formerly known as Smokies Park Hotel) located in Oldham. As part of the project, we provided bedroom furniture for a total of 58 rooms.

Our Products
We completed a comprehensive renovation of all bedroom furniture, which included wardrobes, desks, TV units, coffee tables, headboards, bedsides, mirrors, luggage units, and fridge/hospitality units.
The furniture was manufactured to meet IHG’s design brief and specification using a combination of Egger MFC finishes, Panaz fabrics and Black powder coated metalwork.
The challenges we overcame
The furniture needed to meet Holiday Inn standards and withstand the rigours of a high occupancy hotel, whilst looking contemporary and stylish.
Obviously, in a hotel of this size there were various room types, so the furniture had to be designed and configured by Ellis and the hotel management to best suit the layout of each room, whilst keeping the overall furniture design as consistent and universal as possible.
