Over 1,500 kitchens a year.
And J.T. Ellis was appointed to deliver every one of them.
When a major regional housebuilder approached Ellis, they were seeking a long-term supply partner. They needed a specification they could rely on across every site, ensuring continuity of product, brand, and service from the very first development to the last.
Above all, they needed a partner who could keep pace with the reality of fast-moving housebuilding, without ever compromising on what ends up in the home.
The core challenge was to create a proposal that was simple but effective. Something that could be delivered in volume without compromising on quality or detail.
That meant a focused, curated palette of on-trend colours and finishes with the ability to offer both a Shaker style and a handle-free design. Flexible enough to offer homeowners a meaningful choice, tight enough to work efficiently across high-volume production.
As a manufacturer of our own product, Ellis was uniquely placed to make this work.
The New England Shaker range in Cashmere was selected for the showplot. A warm finish that sits comfortably in any new-build interior and wears beautifully over time. Paired with a 25mm square-edged worktop and finished with a brushed brass handle, the result is a kitchen that feels thoughtful without being complicated.
Appliances by AEG and sinks and taps by Blanco complete the package, giving homeowners a premium kitchen at a price point that works for the development.
Central to the specification was Ellis's ability to match cabinet colours with doors, a design detail that elevates the finished look and gives each kitchen a coherence that buyers notice, even if they can't always say why.
Ellis provides a fully managed supply and installation package, working alongside the developer's existing preferred appliance supplier to ensure a seamless, coordinated finish on every plot.
Our national coverage was critical to our appointment. With sites across the region and an expanding pipeline, the developer needed a partner who could operate at scale without the service suffering.
That's what Ellis is built for.
