Stonyhurst College
In the summer of 2022, we worked with Stonyhurst College, a prestigious boarding school in Lancashire that dates back to 1593, with the buildings dating back to 1200 AD.
This project involved refurbishing 24 bedrooms of 6 different types on the 3rd floor of the building.

“I’ve been impressed by both the quality and visual appeal of the bedroom furniture that JT Ellis have supplied and I know the students are very happy too. It’s also nice to know that it’s been manufactured in Yorkshire and reassuring that the Kato range we selected comes with a 15 year guarantee”.

A New Look
Each of the 24 bedrooms was refurbished using our stunning Kato range, a modern handleless bedroom range with a contemporary and clean aesthetic ideally suited for student living. The bedroom also features a 4 ft “extension bed,” with two built-in drawers to maximise the room's overall storage capacity.
The design paired a Natural Davos Oak carcase with Light Grey Fronts and finished the look off with Turquoise laminate worktops.
