For today's "meet the team" update, we interviewed the newly promoted Major Projects Lead Designer Amy Norcliffe.
So given her recent promotion we thought that we'd ask our usual set of questions to let you get to know her better and the role she plays here at J.T. Ellis.
Q&A
Q) What is your job title?
A) Major Projects Lead Designer (newly promoted!)
Q) How long have you been working for J.T. Ellis?
A) Coming up to 4 years next month!
Q) How has technology changed your role at Ellis?
A) It's definitely made designing quicker and easier! And as our 3D software is developing more, it's allowing us to create more realistic visuals that the customers love!
Q) What do you most like about working for J.T. Ellis?
A) As cheesy as it sounds, the people! It's nice to work around people that are willing to help and lighten the load. No matter how busy we are, we can always have a laugh.
Q) If you weren't doing your current job what would you like to be?
A) In my dreams, probably a race car driver - I seem to have picked up a reputation here for my driving! Realistically, I'd love to be a set designer for TV shows and films - I think it would be so interesting getting to be behind the scenes!
Q) Do you have a secret talent?
A) That'll have to stay a secret!
Q) What was the first film you saw at the cinema?
A) I think it was the first Star Wars and it was so long that I fell asleep!
Q) What's your favourite food?
A) I could honestly eat pasta for every meal, every single day. I even went to Rome just to try authentic pasta!
Q) What's your favourite type of ice cream?
A) I love salted caramel and mint choc chip but I always go back to Vanilla!
Q) What's your favourite way to unwind?
A) Going to the gym and getting a good workout in!
Q) Who would play you in the movie of your life?
A) Honestly no idea! All I'm thinking of is Emma Stone because she's ginger and funny.
Q) Which fictional character do you relate to most?
A) Absolutely no clue!
Q) What was the first album you bought?
A) I think it was Aqua - the one with Barbie Girl!
Q) What is a general fun fact about you?
A) I'm quite reserved and shy until you get to know me and then I'll be the most annoying person you know.
