We had the pleasure of conducting a Q&A with our in-house Product Designer, Jonathan Burnham. Jonathan plays a key role at Ellis and has been behind some of our most interesting products, including the "Minbed," which can be assembled in under three minutes.
How long have you been working for J.T. Ellis?

What responsibilities does your role include?
As a product designer, I develop and quote all the bespoke products across the business.
What’s a typical day like for you?
There is a lot of co-ordination & computer work. As well as visits to the factory to explain how the new products are manufactured / Assembled.
How has technology changed your role at Ellis?
3D CAD has revolutionized the business allowing us to see a product before anything is made.
What’s a project / product design you’re really proud of?
I worked on a large scale, long-term hotel stay project in Manchester called StayCity Wild.
What do you most like about working for J.T. Ellis?
The environment is very relaxed, the managers are trusting and helpful.
