Meet the Team Natalie Sutherland
During her recent visit to our head office, we caught up with Natalie Sutherland in our design centre so that we can get to know more about her and the important role she plays here at J.T. Ellis as Business Development Manager for Retail Bathrooms in Scotland.
Q&A
Q) What responsibilities does your role include?
A) I look after our clients north of the border for Retail Bathrooms! I do my best to ensure all customers are communicated with regularly by visiting, calling and emailing. I ask what the current trends are in that area, what we are doing right, where we might need to improve. Ensure they are completely update with new products and quoting efficiently. Strive to maintain an excellent level of customer service and ultimately increase sales. I really enjoy the relationship building aspect of my role, getting out there, meeting new people and seeing how we may be able to work together to help each other.
Q) How long have you been working for J.T. Ellis?
A) Since March 2019
Q) How has technology changed your role at Ellis?
A) Communication is a huge part of my role which involves various forms of technology, the tracking system that is currently being implemented to provide a clearer picture to our clients with regards to their deliveries. Design software has continued to evolve which helps us design and showcase how flexible our bathroom range can be, so much like Lego!
Q) What do you most like about working for J.T. Ellis?
A) The family aspect, everyone is constantly working towards being better, and we are all on the same page doing our best for our customers. I obviously love the products we manufacture and how we manufacture them, as well as the constant efforts by all to improve.
Q) What was the first album you bought?
A) Guns 'n' Roses - Use Your Illusion 2
Q) If you weren't doing your current job what would you like to be?
A) When I was younger I wanted to be an Air Hostess or Cabin Crew as it is now called, but I would say now that nowadays I would like to work with children, perhaps a primary school teacher
Q) Do you have a secret talent?
A) I am a qualified Scuba Diving Instructor
Q) What was the first film you saw at the cinema?
A) Im too old to remember that now but I remember going to watch Titanic
Q) What's your favourite food?
A) Probably say Pizza
Q) What's your favourite type of ice cream?
A) Mr Whippy
Q) What's your favourite way to unwind?
A) Listening to music or reading a book
Q) Who would play you in the movie of your life?
A) Renee Zellweger - think Bridget Jones!
Q) Which fictional character do you relate to most?
A) Phoebe from Friends!
Q) What is a general fun fact about you?
A) I absolutely love Armin Van Buuren and enjoy going to festivals
