“This is our 4th and largest newbuild scheme for UPP since completing our first scheme with them, Byron House at NTU in 2013. All the furniture was designed to fit into both ‘AS & OPP’ room types, was delivered factory assembled with the units even rebated to accommodate the skirting boards, ensuring a smooth installation on site overseen by our dedicated full-time on-site installation supervisor and our team of fitters.”
Far fewer day to day maintenance issues
UPP are starting to see far fewer day to day maintenance issues where they have installed Ellis bedrooms and kitchens and won’t need to refurbish our furniture for many years. Building on our partnership with UPP the room design has developed so the sockets and data for the desk are integrated into a matching piece of furniture rather than plastic compartmental trunking giving a sophisticated feel to the room. High-pressure laminate to the horizontal surfaces rather than melamine and toughened glass noticeboards means high traffic areas will continue to look ‘brand new’
